The form of the stair 'lightwell' comes to life with the installation of the skylights. The wall to the right has 2 layers of cement board and will be clad in slate tile to create a heat sink for the solar gain.
Eastern white cedar shingles on the second floor. Cedar lap siding yet to go on the stair tower.
